Arnie joined us from Ilse Roos at Ekvar Hungarian Vizslas, located near the New South Wales/Victorian border. As a well-traveled boy, he became a part of our journey in an unexpected but delightful way. Originally, Ilse approached us to see if we knew someone interested in showing one of her boys. Since we had previously used Arnie at stud, we jumped at the opportunity to welcome him into our home.
Compact with excellent bone, Arnie is a striking Vizsla with a beautiful topline and impeccable tail carriage, traits he proudly displays on the move and has passed on to his daughter Celeste. His laid-back and no-fuss nature made him a natural fit with us. Remarkably, on his very first weekend here, Arnie stepped into the ring with junior handlers and took it all in stride.
Initially, Arnie was only meant to stay with us for a few shows. However, the COVID pandemic had other plans. What was meant to be a short visit turned into nearly two years, during which Arnie left an indelible mark both in the ring and on our hearts.
During his time with us, Arnie amassed an impressive list of achievements. He earned multiple Best in Group awards, Runner-Up Best in Show wins, and back-to-back Royal Show Best of Breed wins. He even qualified for the prestigious Dog Of The Year competition, although the event was sadly canceled due to ongoing lockdowns.
With his easy-going demeanor, remarkable achievements, and undeniable charm, Arnie has become an integral part of our story and the legacy of Batorok Hungarian Vizslas. Together with Armani, he is the beginning of our very own Batorok Hungarian Vizslas.
